Following are some sensational facts related to conspiracy theories.

PEARL HARBOR
In the weeks and days prior to the December 7, 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl harbor, a Japanese spy was in Hawaii taking pictures of the American ships anchored in the port. The spy was sending radio messages back to Japan's government that were being intercepted and read by the US Navy. A December 2 message read, "No changes observed by afternoon of 2 December. So far they do not seem to have been alerted." And a December 5 message read, "There are no barrage balloons up and there is an opportunity for a surprise attack against these places." Both of these messages---and dozens more---were intercepted and sent to President Franklin Roosevelt in the White House, who received them before December 7.
The US Navy also intercepted dozens of radio messages that the fleet of Japanese ships approaching Hawaii were sending. When a message from these ships was intercepted, the radio direction finder information would let the Navy know where the ships were. The US Navy knew that dozens of Japanes aircraft carriers were approaching Pearl Harbor.
The Navy was also intercepting radio messages that Japan's Admiral Yamamoto was sending to his ships. On November 25, the Navy intercepted a Yamamoto message that read, "The task force, keeping its movements strictly secret and maintaining close guard against submarines and aircraft, shall advance into Hawaiian waters and upon the very opening of hostilities shall attack the main force of the United States fleet in Hawaii and deal it a mortal blow..."
This message, and dozens more like it, were being delivered to President Roosevelt, who receivd them prior to December 7. How could Roosevelt have not known that Pearl Harbor would be attacked? Did President Roosevelt let Pearl Harbor be attacked to give American an excuse to get into World War II?
ASSASSINATION OF MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.
In November 1999, the family of Martin Luther King Jr. brought a civil lawsuit against a man named Lloyd Jowers. For years, Jowers had been confessing that he had been a part of a conspiracy that had assassinated Dr. King. During the trial, a Memphis resident named Betty Spates testified that on the evening of April 4, 1968, the date King was assassinated, she had walked into Jim's Grill, a restaurant that Jowers owned which was directly behind the Lorraine Motel where Dr. King was killed. According to Spates' testimony, at approximately 6:00PM, the time that King was shot, Spates heard a loud gunshot. Moments later, Lloyd Jowers came rushing into the back of the restaurant, holding a rifle. Jowers then dissassembled the rifle and hid it under a counter.
Jowers had relations with Memphis policemen and mafia figures who had connections to agencies of the US government.
At the end of the trial, the jury quickly decided that Lloyd Jowers and elements in the US government had engaged in a conspiracy to kill Martin Luther King Jr.
SUPRESSION OF POSITIVE CANCER TREATMENTS:
Dr. Linus Pauling, who won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1954, believed that mega doses of vitamin C could help or even cure cancer patients. In 1971, in a trial in a hospital in Scotland, Dr. Pauling tested large doses of vitamin C on cancer patients and many of the patients were made healthier and some patients were even cured of cancer.
Try as he may, though, Dr. Pauling couldn't get the FDA and the American cancer establishment to recognize and publicize his work. Critics of the American cancer establishment believe that the FDA will always promote expensive drugs that the pharmaceutical companies can patent and make billions off of and will ignore and suppress any natural, inexpensive treatments that can't be patented. Dr. Pauling, himself, believed this because Pauling once wrote that one of the reasons the cancer industry won't recognize high doses of vitamin C as a viable treatment for cancer "has probably been the lack of interest of the drug companies in a natural substance that is available at a low price and cannot be patented."
In 1979, at the Mayo Clinic, tests were done to see if Dr, Pauling's theory that citamin C could help and cure cancer patients were conducted. Dr. Pauling provided the Mayo Clinic with instructions on how much and how to administer the vitamin C to cancer patients but the Clinic didn't follow Pauling's instructions and the tests failed to help or heal any patients. Dr. Pauling later remarked that he felt the Mayo Clinic "deliberately failed to follow my instructions."
After unsuccessfully trying to get the FDA to support his work, and after the Mayo Clinic flubbed the tests on vitamin C, Dr. Linus Pauling, who also won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1962 for his political activism, said, "Everyone should know that War on Cancer is largely a fraud."
Dr. Marcia Angell, the former editor of The New England Journal of Medicine, the most prestigious medical journal in the world, once said, "Trials can be rigged in a dozen ways, and it happens all the time."
KENNEDY ASSASSINATION
In recent years, more evidence has emerged and more authors have claimed that Lyndon Johnson participated in a conspiracy that assassinated President John F. Kennedy.
E. Howard Hunt was a well-known Watergate conspirator. Before working in the Nixon White House, Hunt had worked for the CIA for 25 years. Hunt was one of the supervisors of the brigade of CIA Cuban exiles, and since 1963, many people have had suspicions that E. Howard Hunt had something to do with the Kennedy assassination. Hunt died in 2007, but before he did left a taped deathbed confession with his son. Hunt told his son that the Kennedy assassination was the "Big Event"of the CIA and went on to give the names of the CIA agents who were involved. Hunt also said that Lyndon Johnson had the most to gain from Kennedy's death, that Johnson had full knowledge of the conspiracy, and intimated to his son that Johnson was the ringleader of the conspiracy.
A woman named Madeline brown was Lyndon Johnson's mistress. Madeline Brown said that Lyndon Johnson made it clear to her on a number of ocassions that he knew that President Kennedy would be assassinated. According to Brown, on the night before Kennedy was assassinated, Lyndon Johnson leaned into her and said, "After tomorrow, those goddamn Kennedys are never going to embarass me again. That's not a threat. That's a promise."
DOES CORPORATE AND GOVERNMENT INFLUENCE OVER THE MEDIA PRODUCE FAKE NEWS?
In the early 1920's, The New York Times posthumously quoted former president Theodore Roosevelt saying, "These International Bankers and Rockefeller-Standard Oil interests control the majority of newspapers (in America)...."
In response to that, in 1922, John Hylan, the mayor of New York city, said, "The real menace of our republic is this invisible government....These International Bankers and Rockefeller-Standard oil interests control the majority of newspapers and magazines in this country."
In 1975, the Senate's Church Committee investigated the CIA's connections to the media. Famed watergate journalist Carl Bernstein wrote an article about that for Rolling Stone magazine in 1977. Bernstein's article revealed that the CIA owned or financed dozens of newspapers and news organizations, had close relations with some of the most powerful people in the media and with four hundred or more journalists. A media analyst who reviewed the hearings said that the Church Committe investigations showed that "the CIA can spread propaganda and disinformation just about anytime and anywhere it wants to."
Bill Moyers is a world renowned journalist and was President Lyndon Johnson's White House press Secretary. Moyers: "The Founding Fathers didn't count on the rise of megamedia. They didn't count on huge private corporations that would own not only the means of journalism but also vast swaths of the territory that journalism should be covering."
Does this corporate and government influence over the media produce propaganda and fake news?
INCOME TAX
The Tax Honesty Movement is a political action group that believes that the IRS is too abusive, and that the income tax is not good for America and should be abolished. The Founding Fathers were opposed to the idea of an income tax and the income tax doesn't come from the original constitution. The income tax was created by the 16th Amendment in 1913. The senator responsible for creating the income tax, senator Nelson Aldrich, John Rockefeller Jr's father-in-law, was a representative of the banking industry, and in 1913 Aldrich also created the Federal Reserve Bank. Many people in the Tax Honesty Movement believe that the real reason that the income tax was created was to bail out the banks of the Federal Reserve System.
The Founders wrote the constitution in a way that makes it virtually impossible to have an income tax in America and the Tax Honesty Movement also believes that the income tax is, in reality, illegal and unconstitutional. They believe that the IRS is duping Americans into paying a tax that is illegal. In 1989, the office of Hawaii senator Daniel Inouye sent a letter to tax protester Fred Ortiz that stated, "There is no provision of the Internal Revenue code that specifically and unequivocally requires an individual to pay an income tax."
When US Congressman Ron Paul was once asked "Is there a law that requires Americans to pay an income tax?" Paul replied, "No. But the government believes there is and they have the guns."
9/11 ATTACKS ON AMERICA
According to the US government, 19 Al-Qaeda terrorists being directed by Osama bin Laden were responsible for the attacks of September 11, 2001.
Many high ranking former and current military, government, and CIA officials, though, question this official story.
Major General Albert Stubblebine had a 32-year US Army career and from 1981-1984 was the Commanding General of US Army Intelligence and Security Command. Stubblebine has said: "The airplanes that hit the World Trade Center did not cause the collapse of the buildings. The collapse of the buildings were caused be controlled demolition. All of the air defense systems in that part of the country had been turned off that day. Why? Apparently, because Vice President Dick Cheney had ordered them to be turned off. Strange. The real story to me is: Who was the real enemy? Who planned this attack? Why was it planned? Were the real terrorists people in Arab clothing? Or were the real terrorists the authorities in the White House?"
William Christison worked for the CIA from 1950 until his retirement in 1979. From the early 1970's, Christison served as National Intelligence officer, a principal advisor to the director of the CIA. William Christison has said: "David Ray Griffin's Debunking 9/11 Debunking is a strong compendium of the strong body of evidence showing the official US government story of what happened on September 11, 2001 to be almost certainly a monstrous series of lies....I now think there is persuasive evidence that the events of September 11 did not unfold as the Bush administration and the 9/11 Commission would have us believe....David Griffin believes this all was totally an inside job....I've got to say I think it was too...I have since decided that....at least some elements in the US government had contributed in some way or other to causing 9/11 to happen or at least allowing it to happen."
The website Patriotsquestion9/11.com contains the names of dozens more high ranking military and government officials who question the official explanation for 9/11.
Many of the most respected and successful architects, engineers, and scientists also don't believe that jets crashing into the World Trade Center buildings could have caused the collapse of the Twin Towers and that bombs had to be set inside the buildings. Architects and Engineers For 9/11 Truth is a group of more that 1,500 professionals. Scientists for 9/11 Truth is a 9/11 truth group made up of dozens of professors and PHD's.
More than one hundred New York City fireman said that they heard bombs going off in the World Trade Center on 9/11.
Steven Jones has a PHD in science and was a professor of physics at Brigham Young University. Professor Jones was able to examine the rubble after the collapse of the World Trade Center building and collected dust from the wreckage. Examined in a laboratory, Jones found that thermite, the chemical composition of explosives, was in the dust. To many, this is the proof that explosives brought down the Towers. Steven Jones's 9/11 truth group is called Scholars For 9/11 Truth and Justice.
OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBING
Before 9/11, the Oklahoma City Bombing on April 19, 1995 was the worse act of domestic terrorism in the history of the United States.
According to the government, Timothy McVeigh put a 4,800 pound ammonium-nitrate bomb in a Ryder truck, drove the truck up to the Murrah Federal building in Oklahoma City, and destroyed the building, killing 168 people.
Many bomb experts, though, have claimed that a 4,800 pound ammonium-nitrate bomb couldn't possibly have enough power to do the damage that was done to the Murrah Building. Sam Cohen had a 40 year career in nuclear weaponry and was one of the government's most respected experts on explosives. Cohen was the principal designer of the neutron bomb. Cohen has said: "I believe that demolition charges were placed in the building at certain key concrete columns and this did the primary damage to the Murrah Federal Building. It would have been absolutley impossible and against the laws of nature for a truck full of fertilizer and fuel oil---no matter how much was used---to bring the building down."
Even a government study reported that McVeigh's truck bomb couldn't have destroyed the Murrah Building. In 1997, Wright Laboratory at Elgin Air Force did extensive tests and an in depth study on the Oklahoma City Bombing. The final report of the Air Force study concluded that, "....it is impossible to ascribe the damage that occurred on April 19, 1995 to a single truck bomb containing 4,800 pounds of ANFO...It must be concluded that the damage at the Murrah Building is not the result of the truck bomb itself, but rather due to other factors such as locally placed charges within the building itself....The procedures used to cause the damages to the Murrah Building are therefore more involved and complex than simply parking a truck and leaving..."
Air Force General Ben Partin's expertise was explosives. Partin had a 30 year military career and during that time was probably the government's foremost expert on bombs. General Partin has said: "When I first looked at the reports coming out of Oklahoma, I knew that the truth was not coming out. The media was pretty much confused, or passing out disinformation, and I think some of the officials down there were passing out disinformation, and what was going on down there was totally at odds with what I had twenty-five years of experience of knowing."
To Partin, the contention that the ANFO truck bomb did the damage to the Murrah Building is "absurd". After examining hundreds of photos of the building, the general could see "...clearly,clearly...with a very high probablity...with a high level of confidence" exactly where interior bombs were placed.
After studying the case, General Partin also said, "It's an entirely different story if you had a bunch of demolition charges in the building in contradistinction to an ammonium-nitrate truck placed out in front of the building...It probably would have taken several people to do this. And it would have taken people with access. You have to remember that these federal building have guards on the gate and they have magnetometers and everything else. So it's not only how many people, but who had access...You just don't walk in off the street through security with explosives like this."
